The signing of the agreement with the Municipality of Pafos in Cyprus to establish the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo’s first campus outside Lebanon, took place on April 8, 2022, marking a watershed moment in the realisation of the university’s global vision. Paul Lambis meets Professor Wassim El Hajj, who discusses the founding of the American University of Beirut in Cyprus, which has allowed Pafos to 'join' the map of higher education cities.
